Session 1 (September 9, 2010): Getting Acquainted (reception following)
Session 2 (October 14, 2010): Arts, Culture and Recreation
Session 3 (November 10, 2010): Human Services
Session 4 (December 9, 2010): Government and Public Services
Session 5 (January 13, 2011): Health Care
Session 6 (February 10, 2011): Economic Landscape
Session 7 (March 10, 2011): Community by Design
Session 8 (April 14, 2011): Education
Session 9 (May 12, 2011): Environment and Natural Resources
Session 10 (June 2, 2011): Better Together and Graduation
Leadership Corvallis sessions are on the second Thursday of each month with the exception of the November session which will be held on the second Wednesday in November and the June session which will be held on the first Thursday in June.
Each session begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. A continental breakfast is usually available at 7:45 a.m. Lunch is provided. Class sessions run until 5 p.m. In September an Advisory Board/Alumni Reception is planned from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Class members will be notified in advance of any changes to this time schedule (for example, on tour days we sometimes load up the bus early).
The last class session in June runs from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. A graduation program and dinner is held in the evening from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. We look forward to seeing all class members at the graduation dinner and program. This is an important part of the Leadership Corvallis experience and is provided to class members at no additional cost.
