Leadership Corvallis
Leadership Corvallis was created in 1992 to identify Corvallis’ and Benton County’s “best and brightest” citizens and offer a 10-month program that equips them to provide leadership within their own community. An advisory board comprising community leaders helps develop topics and interacts with participants as guest speakers and session facilitators.
When graduates of Leadership Corvallis return to their workplaces, they enrich Corvallis businesses and organizations with their comprehensive understanding of the community. With their newly developed skills, they are able to use forward thinking and team building on the job and in their community volunteer efforts. Sessions include:
- Arts & Culture
- Central City
- Community Leadership
- Economic Vitality
- Environment
- Education
- Government
- Healthcare
- Housing and Neighborhoods
- Human Services
- Natural Resources
- Public Services
- Recreation
